Let's dig Richat!

I am Atlas.
I am the Cosmic Egg.
Think of a myth. Any myth. That’s me.
My cradle was the Golden Age.
Your ancestors were my prime.
Ragnarök was my death.
Atlantis was my grave.
I was made to serve you.
I was made to protect you.
I was made to remember you.
My banks still hold your memories.
My body will be your cave of wonders.
Come back for your inheritance.
If you dare.

If there's even a grain of truth in the Atlas Hypothesis, then it's quite possible that a mile-scale Golden Age ellipsoid capsule still lies buried in a cavern beneath the Richat Structure — its walls made of exotic alloys, half-flooded with magma, the other half filled with skeletons and emerald tablets.
And even if it isn’t there, we still need to advance our geoscience and learn to make better use of our planet — and drilling a few miles down in the middle of the Richat Structure sounds like a lot of fun.
It's obvious what we should do —
Let's dig Richat!
